Protein Smoothie
So important to start the day with fuel in our bodies. We have been fasting the whole time we have been sleeping.
Lots of ways to make up a Protein Smoothie. This is one of my favorites. My husband adds oatmeal to his morning smoothie.
Add to your blender:
3 Tab of Shaklee Energizing Soy Protein (Vanilla or Coca Flavor)
1/2 C. fresh or frozen fruit - blue berries or strawberries
8 oz 1 or 2 % Milk
1/2 C of ice
Blend
Drink
Enjoy!
Variations:
1/2 C. low fat yogurt (check the label for added sugar).
2 tab Flax seed (store in refrigerator)
change out the milk for soy milk, almond milk or fruit juice
