Water

Washing my truck the other day, I was thinking about the water running down the paved driveway and out onto the street.  I live on a hill now.

When I lived out in the River Road area (flat landscape) I would pull my truck up on the lawn and wash it. Why? The cleaners I used to wash my car was good for the lawn and also good for the environment.

Watching  the dirty water from my truck wash down the driveway and down the street I kept thinking about all the people who use toxic cleaners to wash their vehicles. Where do those toxins go?

Do our pets walk through the water with the toxins, then bring it into the house? As we run/walk, are we breathing in those toxins that are in the drains or puddles near us?
